The system has been developed using industry standard relational data base and operating system technology. The PICK Data Base and Unix Operating System have allowed us to be extremely productive in adding new functionality while efficiently maintaining and updating the system. The PICK Data Base and the Unix Operating System are portable across many hardware platforms. This architecture, therefore, allows customers to expand their computer system while continuing to use the familiar DISPAC application software and maintain their initial software investment as their business expands. Current DISPAC customers use various platforms and range in size from $300K (with 3 users) to over $100 million (with 160 users) in annual revenue.
